After 10 weeks on backorder, product was delivered on time on advertised date. However the width listed in the sales description was 29 3/4". The old refrigerator of the same width was removed without a problem. Only when it was left in the living room with expanded on line instructions did the actual width appear as 30". Had to remove a door frame. NOISY!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so sorry that the listing description was 29 3/4" instead of 30" (the actual width), causing you to have to remove the door frame for installation, and that this refrigerator is noisy. This would be incredibly irritating and we can understand your frustration.
You are completely correct - this model is 30 inches wide, not 29-3/4 inches wide. Again, we do apologize for that error and for the inconveniences this caused you.
As for the noise, check out page 42 of the owner's manual to see descriptions of normal operating sounds (to rule out any issues): https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000472-1.pdf. It could also be noisy because the leveling legs need to be adjusted; and in that case, page 37 of the owner's manual (linked before) will walk you through that step.

WE BOUGHT TWO OF THESE

It has been about a month and so far so good. Had to reverse the door swings on one of the units, which proved to be straight forward. All the holes lined up and the quality seems exceptional. Quiet operation. Very consistent temperatures in both the fridge & freezer between both units.

Spacious refrigerator

This refrigerator has plenty of space and is well laid out. The in-door storage is great, plenty of room for milk, condiments, cheese, etc. Large freezer on the bottom. It runs very quietly. Very pleased with our purchase!!

Refrigerator shelves don't pull out. Bottom freezer should be a pull out not a hinged door. Top shelf doesn't pull out and ice cube maker takes up to much space. I would not buy this appliance. It came with my co- op.

I’ve had this refrigerator for a while now, and I love how quiet it is. It’s a good size and fits plenty of items. My only complaint is that the vegetable/fruit doors freeze my produce even if the temperature setting is low.
I would recommend this to a friend!
