Perfect size for our family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and we are so happy with it. It’s the perfect size and gets very cold. It has a lot of space and the baskets and shelf provide easy access. We are very happy with the chest.

Works as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was debating between a smaller one and this one and am so happy i went with this. It is easy to find stuff with the sliding shelves and the partitioned side, is extremely quiet, and so far has avoided any real frost buildup.

First Whirlpool Freezer - High Standard to Meet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First Whirlpool freezer for me. Have had it for just over a month and it seems to run well. It is quiet and maintains a constant temperature (use a thermometer to monitor so I can mark the right setting location for my desired temperature). It is replacing a smaller commercial freezer that was surpassing 25 years of service (and was still going strong), but we were concerned it was nearing end of life and didn't want to risk failure while we were out of town and having everything inside spoiling.
If I have one complaint, it is that the freezer was advertised with a high temperature "warning" feature. I expected an audible alarm. It is merely a red light. Unless you are looking at it each day, you would miss the opportunity to salvage frozen food should the unit fail. Maybe I misread the adverisement, but having an audible signal would be better. Looking at an aftermarket alarm.
Overall, I would state that I am satisfied with initial quality. Check back in 15 to 20 years and see if it is as good as my last freezer.

Quiet and good layout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 15 year old chest freezer, and you can really tell the difference. It's quieter and takes up less space for the space capacity. I'm really impressed with how easily the lid lifts and stays in place. There's some great storage inside. The raised space makes it easy to stack smaller boxes for easy viewing. The two storage baskets slide with ease and are pretty big.
