[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop back in August, and I'm beyond satisfied with my purchase! I bought it as a replacement to my HP dv7 (that I got in 2012) just because I wanted something new. It's light and highly portable, and very easy to use in laptop or tablet mode. The screen is really clear and are good for light gaming (I usually play Sims 4 or do sudoku puzzles). The battery life is pretty good on it as well. I wish the fingerprint scanner was in a better position, but the functionality of it and the added security is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The first feather that I like is the versatility of the screen. It does make it visible at many angles. The down side is the keyboard is not protected as it faces the surface you are resting on. I thought I would never need the fingerprint but find that easily used. The machine works quietly and quick. The sound is of good quality. The screen is of good quality. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a simple laptop but built for speed and ease.

I am very happy to buy this laptop, HP ENVY 2-in-1. I am not tech savvy and I was trying to avoid upgrading and was seeking a device with an optical drive and numeric key pad but also wanted something light and portable so I settled with this. Overall it is a wonderful device. It functions well. It has all the features convenient for my use and that I desired. However, the track pad is very sensitive, not a total set back but when I am working I don't like interruptions. I do wish a slim, portable, and light device like this did have a CD Drive but it is not a deal breaker. There is a face recognition feature in the security settings but I don't have the option to use it on this software volume. I do hope that I can upgrade it for use. I do recommend this device. I have had it two months so far.
