This is a very nice laptop overall. My only complaints are: 1. (and this is the biggest one) This is a 17" laptop. It is absolutely beyond me why there is no numpad on this laptop! There is MORE than enough room. It's just dumb not to have one. 2. The screen is only 300 nits and is only 65% RGB. It's just a below average screen on an expensive laptop. 3. The power brick is a monster! It literally is THREE regular laptop power bricks stuck together in size. Summary: My son likes it and for the price it was purchased at I am overlooking the flaws. As an adult, if it was for me I would NOT forgive the flaws. Oh well, my son is happy and I suppose that's all that matters.......... :-)
Been using this laptop for over a week now and it’s the perfect laptop for both gaming and productivity. With having an RTX 4080 and Intel Graphics, battery life and power consumption are well balanced! Battery life is somewhat impressive but you must consider that this laptop can be power hungry as it’s a high performance laptop. If you’re looking to replace your desktop and to have a laptop where you could connect it to a dock, this would be ideal! The performance all around is incredible!
I bought this laptop because of its impressive specifications. I am not a gamer but do use high powered engineering software. I like the screen and performance so far however I just got it so have not been able to fully test it. I was surprised how large the power supply is. I believe I saw the actual power input but failed to see, if noted in specs, how large the power supply unit is. Roughly 6" x 6" x 1.5" tall. The online pictures shows a tapering keyboard however it was unclear the bottom has what appears to be elevated ventilation holes which elevates the laptop keyboard off the table higher than expected. Other than that so far so good. I hope its worth the price.
