The top panel is impossible to figure out how to use properly so that it does not go on for hours of wash. It uses an enormous amount of energy. The dry cycle does not dry but leaves the dishes full of droplets of water. It does clean the dishes but after hours of wash time. The last wash stopped in the middle of the cycle, I think, and would not stop beeping nor could I void the cycle. I literally had to run the cycle which is still running after 1 hour.

Hello- We can understand your concern and appreciate your feedback and want you to know it is valuable to us. We will share this with our engineering and design teams. We want to explain the long cycle time. The U.S. Department of Energy, the EPA Energy Star program, and consumer demand has driven dishwasher manufacturer’s to make dishwashers much more energy and water efficient over the last several years. But there are always tradeoffs to using less energy and water. Longer wash cycles will actually lower the energy consumption. It’s a little counter-intuitive, most people experiencing a long cycle will imagine the power meter spinning out of control. However, the truth is that it’s much more efficient to take less water from the water heater and run the dishwasher longer. The bottom line is that the price of high efficiency is longer wash cycles. We hope you have many years of use from your new dishwasher.
We’ve had the dishwasher for 3 weeks and it has not worked. We are up to our third service appointment to replace the control board.

Hi there, we're so sorry to hear your dishwasher hasn't worked in the 3 weeks you've had it and that you're on your third service call. This is never the ownership experience we'd expect for our consumers so we can certainly imagine how frustrating this is for you.
With that said, we want you to know we're confident our technician will be able to get this taken care of, but if there were to be any new issues to arise we're always available on social media and happy to assist you in any way we can.
My first GE dishwasher and so far I like it a lot. It came with the purchase of my newly built home and I’m glad that I went with the GE stainless steel appliances. This dishwasher works well, looks good, and it’s so quiet that sometimes I thought that I forgot to turn it on.
