The placement of the tines in the shelves is awkward and almost impossible to use. Dishes don't stack well and glasses won't stay upright. Poor quality.

Hello- We appreciate your feedback and understand how upsetting it can be when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations. We will share your feedback with our engineering and design teams. We would like to help and offer some tips that we have on our website.

Note: Upper Rack: We recommend loading glasses, cups, saucers, dishwasher-safe plastic and wood items in the upper rack of your dishwasher.
Shallow items such as cups and small glasses should be loaded along the sides or less deep areas of the upper rack. Tall, deep glasses should be loaded in deeper areas of the upper rack and placed so that they rest firmly against the tines.
When loading any item, it should face toward the water source in the center.
Make sure tall items clear the top of the dishwasher interior and/or upper spray arm.

Lower Rack: Place plates and saucers in between the tines.
Platters should be loaded along the sides, in corners or in the back.
Never place glasses in the lower rack.
Items like bowls and casserole dishes fit well in the corners. Be sure to place them at an angle, facing downward. Items with heavy dried-on and baked-on soils such as pots, pans and casserole dishes should be loaded in the lower rack with the open end down, facing directly toward the wash arm below the lower rack.

We hope this is helpful. If you have any other questions, please let us know. We are happy to help!

Hi there! We appreciate your feedback. We are so sorry to hear this dishwasher has not lived up to your expectations due to the lack of the Delay Start feature and the noise level while in use. This is definitely not the consumer experience that we strive for with this dishwasher, and we will be sure to share these comments with our product design teams for review.

Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. If any additional questions or concerns arise, feel free to reach back out to us! - Adrian@GEAppliances

I have had this washer for over a month now and it has worked perfectly. Installation was not difficult but disappointed that they did not include the basic installation kit.
