It's not even 2 years and it stops working. I am very disappointed. GE used to be a great brand

We would like to review your situation further and have sent you an email requesting additional information to do so. Please respond at your earliest convenience. In the meantime, we encourage you to check to be sure the controls weren't inadvertently locked. To lock or unlock the control panel, press and hold the "Cycle" pad for a full three seconds. We also recommend checking your household breaker box and make sure the breaker or fuse controlling the power to the dishwasher is still working properly.
This Dishwasher has been well maintained since new when we bought the house, used mildly (household of two), and it has already stopped working. Barely 3 years old... not even close to the industry standard. The real test will be what the service department does about it.

The tips melted off the lower water pressure arm. The unit runs ok with the melted tips. The heating element melted the interior door causing a leak at the base of the interior door. After 34 mos of use the unit in inoperable without repair to the interior door and seal. It appears a design flaw, in the heating element proximity to the plastic interior door.

New product and 9.5 months later and it just quits working. Checked breaker and nothing. Loaded it up and nothing. I am finding that GE is the most inexpensive cheap product I have ever had. Hopefully it’s still under warranty and they will fix it or replace it.
