Does not work at all

I just moved in to my house, and it came with this brand new dishwasher. I have tried to start it for the past few days and it will start but after a minute or so, it will just go off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent cleaning / poor drying

1. Everything comes out really clean.
2. Air drying of top rack glasses, cups & mugs impossible. Significant puddles remain on top of these items. The top rack does not pitch these items so that most of the trapped water can run off. The rack is designed so that everything is poorly pitched, remains almost vertical, thus preventing run off. I've tried every possible position to no avail. Very poor design.

Followup: Excellent cleaning /POOR DRYING

Thank you for referring me to the "Poor Drying" info. I also read the Owner's Manual. In my original review I stated: "Air drying of top rack glasses, cups & mugs impossible. The Owner's Manual shows a photo of model 535's top rack with glasses and cups properly pitched to maximize draining of trapped water. It is also obvious that the rack depicted is different than the rack provided in my model 535. I have included photos which show the difference. Please advise how I can obtain a replacement rack of the correct design.

Leaks in front

As others have experience, this dishwasher leaks in the front. Insulation inside is soaked and leaks onto floor. I purchased a month ago.

Corroded hole in the bottom less than 4 years

I bought this dishwasher in September 2021. In April 2025 our downstairs ceiling below the dishwasher started to get water damage. We pulled off the toe kick plate and saw there is a corroded hole in the bottom of the dishwasher that leaks when it runs. Not even four years after buying this did it become a liability causing water damage between two floors. Who knows how long it has been leaking for to run through the ceiling

Broke Right After Warranty Ended

1 year warranty is a scam. Dishwasher conveniently stopped dispending pods and fails to dry dishes now just over one year after purchase so it is not covered.
What a joke. Make a quality product and make a better warranty. Never buying a GE dishwasher again.

I love how much room on the inside there is, and the features. I live in an older condo that can have water issues, and finding one that would fit size wise and includes heat boost is a dream come true.
