It's not even 2 years and it stops working. I am very disappointed. GE used to be a great brand

We would like to review your situation further and have sent you an email requesting additional information to do so. Please respond at your earliest convenience. In the meantime, we encourage you to check to be sure the controls weren't inadvertently locked. To lock or unlock the control panel, press and hold the "Cycle" pad for a full three seconds. We also recommend checking your household breaker box and make sure the breaker or fuse controlling the power to the dishwasher is still working properly.

Horrible dishwasher

This dishwasher is horrible. The bottom rack doesn’t stay on th tracks whether it’s empty or full. I’ve moved into a newly constructed townhouse last month and I want the builder to remove it and replace it with a better brand/modelv

The dishwasher is part of a new build house but has been broke and in need of repair since closing on 8 June 2026. Will be able to rate once it is fixed.

Wet Dishes
on July 5, 2026

from Beaufort, SC
The dishes are always wet after the washer completes its cycle. The layout of the racks for placing your dishes and cups is not efficient. The silverware holder is just a basket without individual slots, which leads to the items being clumped together. Unfortunately, this appliance was part of a package deal for a new home. We will be replacing it soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hot water is essential for proper wash and dry performance. The water coming into the dishwasher needs to be a minimum of 120°F and no greater than 150°F. To check the water temperature, run the hot water at the kitchen sink and measure the temperature of the running water with a candy or meat thermometer. If the incoming water temperature is less than 120°F, adjust the temperature of your water heater accordingly. We recommend using the Wash Heat Boost option on every cycle. This will further heat the water in the dishwasher which will not only improve the wash performance but the dry performance as well. It will aid in the evaporation of the water from the dishes when the cycle is complete.
