If the dishwasher door will not latch on a new installation, there are a few things to check to remedy the situation:

If you start the machine on an hour cycle, mind that I thoroughly rinse first each item, they remain wet and with streaks regardless you use Finish for shine or not. If you select Boost mode it will take hours for it to finish. It is a very noisy machine and after less than two weeks of utilizing it in a brand new construction the door is falling off, the spring seems to have failed. Each time you open it, you need to hold it until it goes all the way down unless you want it to slam down. Very very disappointed that such a poor craftsmanship of modern days is not even comparable with a 20 year old machine of similar caliber.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s noisy, door vibrations are very loud. Short wash cycle is accompanied by stain on glass.

entry level in new home

GE has a great deal with home builders i’m certain. home builders probably get some fees for passing on the manufacturer to your new home and you wind up paying 1200 for a washer than is worth 300, think about that. the his washer is loud inefficient and you have no place to put your dishes pots and pans. it’s ridiculous in space wifi own y. it uses a lot of water and at least so far the dishes come out ok.

Dented Door

Ordered Feb 25 2023. The first arrived in April and was badly dented on the door and did not come off the delivery truck. Waited again and the second one arrived in May and was brought into my hone and was dented on bottom, right side. I am now waiting on a replacement door. This has held up my full kitchen renovation and I am NOT HAPPY.
