We recommend scheduling service with our Bodewell technicians to get this dishwasher trim issue properly addressed. You can schedule an appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm.
Worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I run a regular cycle & the dishwasher doesn’t automatically open to let the heat out. If I forget about it even for 30 minutes, everything inside smells like wet dog & I have to rewash. I have resorted to just hand washing all my dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher is not designed to open automatically at the end of a cycle. The type of odor you're describing is not normal for a dishwasher. At the end of a cycle, you may have 1-2 cups of clean water standing in the bottom of the unit. Any more water than that may be an indication of an issue with the way the drain hose was installed. We also recommend you check and clean as needed the filter as described on page 18 of the Owner's Manual - https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--EszXjA26--/2ee1c206fc195cd1717cedf8b41e2ab95579670c.pdf. If you continue to have an issue, please call our Bodewell service team at 1-833-4Bodewell or visit: https://www.bodewellcareplan.com/schedule-repair-service to have your dishwasher evaluated and repaired as needed.
This dishwasher is really only an okay dishwasher. I have found that the bottom drawer is horrible in pushing in and out. It always gets caught and comes off the tracks. Very hard to put back in when it comes out

We want to help you with your dishwasher's lower rack getting caught and coming off the tracks of your unit. We recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our Bodewell technicians by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL or online here: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
Easy installation and the dishwasher was user friendly so you can’t go wrong buying this product. We’ve had our GE dishwasher for 26 years and got this one as a replacement. I’ve always trusted the brand and hoping this will last another 20 + years
Lasted less than a year and a half then stopped rinsing and drying. Warranty is only good for 1 year. What a scam

We would like to assist. A member of our team will be reaching out to you via email. Please respond at your earliest convenience. In the meantime, if the dishes and other items are not drying properly, one thing to check is that the water entering the dishwasher should be between 120 and 140 degrees F for best wash and dry performance. We have an article from our website with this information and more troubleshooting that you can view here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451&_gl=1*. We also have the article form our website that will have more information on how to achieve the best wash performance at the link here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18921&_gl=1*.
