Don't Waste Your Money

Worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I run a regular cycle & the dishwasher doesn’t automatically open to let the heat out. If I forget about it even for 30 minutes, everything inside smells like wet dog & I have to rewash. I have resorted to just hand washing all my dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher is not designed to open automatically at the end of a cycle. The type of odor you're describing is not normal for a dishwasher. At the end of a cycle, you may have 1-2 cups of clean water standing in the bottom of the unit. Any more water than that may be an indication of an issue with the way the drain hose was installed. We also recommend you check and clean as needed the filter as described on page 18 of the Owner's Manual - https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--EszXjA26--/2ee1c206fc195cd1717cedf8b41e2ab95579670c.pdf. Bad bottom drawer

This dishwasher is really only an okay dishwasher. I have found that the bottom drawer is horrible in pushing in and out. It always gets caught and comes off the tracks. Very hard to put back in when it comes out
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy installation and the dishwasher was user friendly so you can’t go wrong buying this product. We’ve had our GE dishwasher for 26 years and got this one as a replacement. I’ve always trusted the brand and hoping this will last another 20 + years

Lasted less than a year and a half then stopped rinsing and drying. Warranty is only good for 1 year. What a scam

In the meantime, if the dishes and other items are not drying properly, one thing to check is that the water entering the dishwasher should be between 120 and 140 degrees F for best wash and dry performance. The baskets on top and bottom do not move easily. In fact, the bottom rack comes off its tracks too easily and is an aggravation. Appears cheaply made.

We'd like to assist with your dishwasher's racks not moving easily. It's important that you don't overload your dishwasher racks when loading dishes. Overloaded racks will prevent the rack from gliding smoothly. Our dishwasher upper racks are life-tested to handle a 30 lb. load; Lower racks are tested to handle a 50 lb. load. If this doesn't help, the next step we recommend is to uninstall and reinstall the lower rack to ensure its in place on the supports.
