OK but would not buy one

Even on max boost, doesn't dry nearly as well as previous year models. It is very quiet though, which is nice. We were given this dishwasher, but due to the drying issue would not buy one ourselves. GE repair came out said it's working the way it's supposed to, it's not just a cheaper model.

Hello there! Thank you for your review. We are so sorry to hear that this dishwasher has not lived up to your expectations due to the unit's drying power. This is definitely not the consumer experience that we want or strive for, and we will be sure to pass these comments along to our product design teams for review.

We appreciate you choosing GE Appliances for your home. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. - Adrian@GEAppliances

Nice look but very cheaply made - snap on dishrack wheels routinely fall off. Door gasket falls off. Very disappointed.
Brand new :(

Hello,

We appreciate you taking a moment to get in touch and leave a review. We're sorry to hear that you're having issues with the dishwasher and we're happy to help.

The below video link describes how to adjust a lower rack in a dishwasher so it rolls smoothly on the tub rack track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBwYl4FSl40

If the dishwasher gasket keeps falling we recommend referring to the troubleshooting steps at this link:

If the issue continues, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our factory service and repair team by calling 1-800-432-2737, or by visiting https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

We hope this helps! -Charlie@GEAppliances

It runs pretty loud & takes way too long. In addition, dishes do not come out super clean or dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We can understand how upsetting it can be when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations. The number one reason the dishes aren't cleaning or drying well is due to the water temperature. We recommend turning your hot water on first so the initial fill will be hot. Please be sure to use rinse agent and press the Dry Boost option. Please review the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38933&_gl=1*1a197oq*_ga*MTYzOTkxMTY1Mi4xNzA3MTU1NDA1*_ga_1JLE3BZ79Y*MTcwNzUxNjg3OC4xNi4xLjE3MDc1MTY5NTcuMC4wLjA.&_ga=2.227254175.343308488.1707155406-1639911652.1707155405

In regard to the long cycle time, the U.S. Department of Energy, the EPA Energy Star program, and consumer demand has driven dishwasher manufacturers to make dishwashers much more energy and water efficient over the last several years. But there are always tradeoffs to using less energy and water. Longer wash cycles will actually lower the energy consumption. It’s a little counter-intuitive, most people experiencing a long cycle will imagine the power meter spinning out of control. However, the truth is that it’s much more efficient to take less water from the water heater and run the dishwasher longer. The bottom line is that the price of high efficiency is longer wash cycles.
