The new dish washer is very quiet and does a thorough job at cleaning. It has great features, some of which I have yet to explore. I wish there was an attachment for long utensils on the top rack.

GE Dishwasher
on January 6, 2024

Our installed GE Dishwasher is acceptable. We did not have a choice in what specific model that was installed in our new Condo. We need to run the Normal cycle that lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes.
In our previous home we owned a Bosch dishwasher that would clean all our dishes equally as well using a 60 minute cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Response from geappliances.comBy Krystal@GEAppliancesGE_AppliancesJanuary 11, 2024
Hello-Thank you for taking the time to review your dishwasher. We do apologize that a normal wash cycle is taking longer than you expected. It is normal for dishwashers to run for up to two hours or more under certain conditions. Cycles times vary because of the clean sensors due to the sensor extending or decreasing cycle time and number of fills based on the soil level. Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance, but they use less energy while running. Also, in using less water, your water heater does not need to provide as much hot water and therefore is not using energy to heat more water. We hope this helps. Thank you for being part of the GE Appliances family.-Krystal@GEAppliances
