This is the first time I have had a dishwasher, and I love it. I’m having some difficulty changing the settings but will get it figured out. When I first started using it, it would run for 1 hour 20 minutes, which cleaned the dishes just fine. Now I must have hit something because when I press start it goes to 2 hours 52 minutes. Not sure what happened and having some difficulty getting it back to a shorter cycle. I would still buy this again.

Hello- Thanks for taking the time to share your review. We are so happy to hear you are loving your new dishwasher. Our dishwashers will sense the turbidity in the water and adjust the cycle time.
In regards to the long cycle time, the U.S. Department of Energy, the EPA Energy Star program, and consumer demand has driven dishwasher manufacturer’s to make dishwashers much more energy and water efficient over the last several years. But there are always tradeoffs to using less energy and water. Longer wash cycles will actually lower the energy consumption. It’s a little counter-intuitive, most people experiencing a long cycle will imagine the power meter spinning out of control. However, the truth is that it’s much more efficient to take less water from the water heater and run the dishwasher longer. The bottom line is that the price of high efficiency is longer wash cycles.

Racks are not well designed

Difficult to place large dishes ( plates, glass storage bowls) for maximum wash/rinse since they tip over. Purchased a Lennar Home and the GE appliance package is on the low end for GE quality however did not have an option to upgrade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
