If this cart were a little wider then there would not be a problem.
What's great about it: Sturdy, room to put things on top.
What's not so great: We purchased this cart or one like it and it is a pain to retrieve the laptops from since everything is squeesed in so tight. We do have the cart that holds 16 and that one has a lot more space. I would recommend the smaller one but not this one. Also, charging the laptops in the cart puts the laptop charger cord at a 90 degree angle and has caused several of our cords to break. Not good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
