We’ve been using SodaStream for years. When our first (manual) unit wore out, we decided to upgrade to the electric. I like the convenience of one touch and being able to walk away while it charges the water, but it’s not quite that simple: It is often hard to jam the bottle up into the receiver and get a good fit. If you don’t, the air leaks and can spray water everywhere. Nice concept, but not well-executed. I wouldn’t buy this one again.

Good carbonation

I’m used to drinking mineral water and decided to purchase this to minimize bottle consumption. It carbonates the water fairly well. However the carbonation doesn’t last long. The bubbles will last longer if you refrigerate after you inject the water. Overall the soda stream is a good replacement for fizzy mineral water.

One Touch Sparkling Water

Excellent. There was a slight learning curve to make sure I attached the bottles correctly so that water didn't end up everywhere but the SodaStream One Touch is simple to use. I love having sparkling water available without cans or non-reusable bottles. I mostly drink it plain but I have used the lemon drops and lime drops when I've felt like it and enjoy the flavors.
