Not working

Makes the sounds of carbonating, but no fizz. They sent me a new CO2 bottle, but it is still not working. Sending it back.

I'm in love

I am a die hard diet soda fan for decades. I should have bought this sooner. I'm in love with sparkling water that's so easy to make. And I'm having fun with all the different flavors. The gas tank is lasting a lot longer than I expected which is good. I'm making at least 5L/day. The cats don't care for the sound, but they'll live.

Drink water for better health

Way better than plain water. I needed to drink more water but plain water is so boring. Wasn’t getting enough. With SodaStream I am drinking 4L a day now, at minimum. Great taste. I Don’t add any flavoring because I love the taste just the way it is. Great carbonation. I bought the One Touch with the 3 liter and 2 half liter bottles. I go through them all daily and this way I know I am getting the amount of recommended daily water I need. Water has many health benefits, and one of them is that it helps cushion your joints. I am 70 years old. Used to jog with no problems. My knees started bothering shortly after starting again and no matter how I changed my jogging routine i was getting discomfort. After a couple weeks getting more water into my system I am no longer having problems with my knees. And that is just an added bonus. I just wanted to drink more water for my overall health and never expected that. If you want to drink more water but find it’s too boring or you like carbonated water but it’s too expensive, this is for sure the way to go.

From Flash Gordon's spaceship to an appliance future/current

Dear Reader, Once upon a time I gave my wife the gift of a Soda Stream carbonator. It was reminiscent of the apparently silver spaceship from an early black and white television program. The carbonator was mysterious looking and robustly propulsive sounding when it did its work. If the user did not master technique, results would disappoint and the product could be considered kludgy. Nonetheless, it had its unsubtle endearing qualities as CO2 was injected into its heavy duty plastic bottle. Time passed and it aged, unable to function well or with conviction. When my wife became critical of the quality of its work, I replaced it with a successor which I have been invited to review.
The Aqua Fizz unit is sleek and new. The design is more refined, and simpler to use than what it replaces. However, it is tentative in its operation. The desired result is the same as before, but not with the same raw sensation of propulsion, or infusion in this case. It is well-mannered and safer to use than the earlier model which some owners may find preferable. However, ownership is a seduction, not an engineering triumph.
On the plus side, my wife is happy with her fizzy water.

Aqua Fizz

I love the fizzy water you can make with the Aqua Fizz. The glass bottles are nice. I previously had a Fizzy and didn't think it made the water as fizzy. I have since discovered I was not pressing hard enough. It does just as well as the Aqua Fizz and the plastic bottles are nice if you want to carry them with you

Great for us and the planet

The sodastream is easy to use, the seltzer is delicious and the machine is attractive in the kitchen. We drink a lot of seltzer and always felt guilty about the number of plastic bottles we put in our recycling bin. sodastream has cut our plastic consumption way down. We also try to avoid driving and not having to carry heavy bottles home from the grocery store is another huge win.

Especially whenvusing Sodastream's drink mixes. Easy and quick to make a drink.
Tried other drink mixes, but they were not as good as Sodastream's. Juice also works very well.
