Should not have waited

Sodastream seemed like such a good idea, but for some reason we waited to purchase the system.
The empty plastic bottles in our recycling can, and many more, littered seemingly everywhere, motivated me to act.
I was tired of the belligerent plastic shrink wrap and too many bottles in our refrigerators.
The system works well, the water is great and customer service is excellent. Thank you Sodastream.

It is a great product when it works. The power supply stopped working after 3 days of minimal use and rendered it useless. I contacted support and they are sending a replacement power supply. I’m optimistic that it’s a one-time issue.

I love this product. I drink a lot of club soda so this saves me money, is a lot more convenient, and the water is a lot fizzier.

The electric version does taste better

For years, I was drinking SodaStream waters myself as my partner found it too sour for her. I am glad to replace the older mechanical pumping machine with this electric one: there are more bubbles and a dramatically less sour taste.

Really wonderful for about 15 bottles then fizzled

Great carbonation when got the new unit on medium setting. Very enjoyable. But after about 15 bottles couldn’t get any more carbonation. We’ve ordered another CO2 cannister to see if it was just a faulty canister. Otherwise very disappointing and ultimately expensive. Will update this review when get new cannisters.

Works well. Like having glass, not plastic, bottles.
Unit is a bit bulky and heavy. We have one of the original SodaStream models, which was lighter and a bit more compact.
