Penguin replacement

Nearly as nice as the original Penguin but more plastic. Looks nice and works, but I can't imagine it will last like my Penguin (10+? Years!)

Love my Soda Stream

My wife an daughter bought me a soda stream for Christmas. I was going through a 12 pack of seltzer in less than 2 weeks. They had bought me the electric one, but I really wanted glass bottles, and we had no room on our counter top for an electric. I just love it. I make a couple bottles a day (at least) and it just takes a second. Only thing I wish is a gauge or something to tell me where I am with the charging tube (kind of like the propane gas on my BBQ, that tells you where you are by weight.

doesn't work

The brand new One Touch just kept fizzing and would never stop. We thought it was a bad CO2 cartridge. They sent another one. The same thing happened - the fizzing never stopped until the entire cartridge was discharged, making for some undrinkable water. Am returning the defective machine.

brand new and it doesn't work

we got one bottle out after numerous tries and water all over the place -- had to push the bottle up hard and hold it there. Just tried to fill a second bottle and we get a clicking noise and that is it. Ugh. Will try another cylinder -- maybe there is a problem with this one. Frustrating because our original machine developed a hitch where the gas was escaping each time we tried to use it. We ordered another washer as the web site chat suggested but same problem.

Great device

Ive owned many Sodastream products and ordered this one because it allows you to simply put the bottle in and close the lid. My one complaint is over the years they moved from the larger Co2 cartridge and I have accumulated about 10 cartridges and now can only order 2 per order.

So nice!

I’m so happy to not have to waste cans of sparkling water or club soda anymore, or run out of them so quickly! I had no idea how easy this would be to use and FAST! I will have to do some sourcing about the “burping” it does when I push the plunger; I assumed the sound meant it was at the highest pressure, yet that doesn’t seem to be the case as often the water’s not too bubbly. We have 4 glass bottles to keep up with our family’s demands! We love it!
