It’s called seltzer water!!

Before purchasing a sodastream I had been drinking sparkling water from the store. I has tried seltzer water, it is not the same, and I don’t like the flavor. I ordered a sodastream as it was advertised to make sparkling water....what it makes is seltzer water!!! I’m keeping it as it’s ok with the soda syrups. But if i was judging it based on the fruit drops, it would get 1 star and have been returned! Generally disappointed this isn’t more correctly explained by the company!

Works well - instructions lacking

I have had a sodastream in the past so I figured things out, but the instructions never tell you how many times to push the button to carbonate this size bottle. That said, I love the look and feel of the glass bottle much better than the plastic ones.

Wow, my husband loves the Soda Stream

He likes to drink fizzy water throughout the day. We were purchasing a lot through our grocery store. This wasn't fun because I had to carry a bunch of cans out to my car and then into my house. Also, because of all the cans, we had to recycle more. With the soda stream, this is all eliminated!! And, we don't run out.

Love this, but.....

Overall, I am glad I bought a SodaStream. However, I have a couple of issues with the company.
First, the Aqua Fizz did not come with instructions describing actual usage. The included instructions only showed how to install the CO2 cannister, how to insert the carafe, and how to close the unit. Nothing in the packaging told me to look for a fill line on the carafe (which is merely a bump on the glass), and nothing told me how long or how many times to press the fizz button. First usage, I filled up the carafe, because I did not notice the fill line, and I pressed the fizz button continuously until it made a loud racket. Water spewed out of the unit onto the counter. The next morning, I received an email from SodaStream thanking me for my purchase. That email is what contained the instructions that should have been included in the packaging.
Second, the company's website shows several methods for determining when to change the CO2 cannister. However, those methods cannot be used with the Aqua Fizz because of the sealed design of the unit. While I love the glass carafes, I now regret not purchasing a different model where I could actually see the carbonation process at work. I'd suggest that SodaStream should redesign the Aqua Fizz to include a window in the metallic carafe holder.
Overall, I'm enjoying this product, but the issues described above keep me from giving this unit my full recommendation.

Love my One Touch

We’ve been a Sodastream user since the first pump action was sold! Decided it’s time for an upgrade and the new One Touch was the way to go. So easy to use and love the preset values of fizz created with just the push of a button! Great product and highly recommended!!!!
