I had one of the original machines. After I now know was a defective cartridge caused problems, I bought this one. Fifty perecent of the time, it doesn't seal properly and squirts all over the plae. The old screw-on version was much better. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Unfortunately, the bsic picture instructions are impossible for someone with aging eyesight to fully decipher. There should be written instructions. It would be a great machine if it sealed and if adequate instructions were provided.

Not Dispensing Correctly

My daughter bought me a Fizzy One Touch for Christmas and I don't believe it's dispensing correctly. I press the least bubble button once to activate it and then press the least bubble button once again and it dispenses five squirts of carbonation. I only fill the bottle to the recommended amount line on the bottle but the contents blows out all around the top of the bottle making a mess, and wasting the carbonation. It tastes good but I can't recommend this product.

Instructions are terrible, manual button is awful

This has been a very disappointing product. I wanted something with glass carafes and ideally a one-touch, automatic carbonation process. But the one-touch only uses plastic bottles (which aren't very reliable), and the Aqua Fizz uses a manual push-button, but the manual is totally unclear about how much to press it down to do it right. All I end up getting is wasted gas when it overfills, and a partially carbonated bottle of water. The glass carafes are great, and the only reason I give this 2 stars, but, this really needs an automatic version OR, the videos and manuals need to be updated to better explain what sounds you're supposed to listen for or how long you hold the button down for each "pump" in order to properly carbonate your water without overfilling, wasting gas or blowing water all over the place. Terrible, poor design. Even worse documentation.

I didn’t expect it to be this good

I bought the machine not expecting it to provide me the quality of sparkling water. I was tired of purchasing Perrier and have bottles all over my room and car. This solved my issue!

So so, so far

We absolutely love the idea of the soda stream, and when it works, it’s great! The first CO2 cylinder that came with the device was defective, and our second lasted about a week. We only make about 2L of sparkling water per day. Starting to think our machine is defective! Customer service has been fantastic so far, so I hope to follow up with them to get us up and running the store bottle free life!
