It's almost impossible to use this without the water spilling up and out of the bottle unless the CO2 bottle is brand new.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am generally pleased with the Aqua Fizz machine. It is very easy to set up and use. It helps me save some $$ and allows be to be environmentally friendly by reducing bottle usage.
I wish the carbonate "button" was one simple push and not varied on how hard you push and how long you hold it. It makes it hard to be consistent in the carbonation level. Also, there is no easy way to tell when the CO2 cylinder is empty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought the Aqua Fizz to reduce plastic waste and needed help with choosing a plan for re ordering refills and flavor choices. My experience with the website was not easy, but made a phone call in the morning and everything was taken care of.

A GameChanger for the Family!

Okay, so I'm the fizzy water addict, and in switching from plastic to glass, I was still aware of how much glass was going out in recycling each week. So we brought in a SodaStream as soon as I realized they had a model with glass bottles. Now everyone - from my 5 year old to my husband - is staying more hydrated! This is easy, fun, and fabulous way to get our hydration needs met! Thank you for providing glass bottles!!

Glass bottles are the key new feature

The new Aqua Fizz works fine, although figuring it out with no useful instructions was harder than it should have been for someone who’s had Sodastreams for almost a decade.
I particularly like having glass bottles that don’t expire or leach chemicals into my soda. I’m also very happy not to have to spin the bottle into position for filling any longer.
I’m less thrilled with the 60 liter refill bottles, as I’ve always used the 130 liter refills on my past Sodastreams. You’d think the resulting machine would be thinner than my older ones, but it really isn’t, plus it’s a lot taller, making it harder to fit into compact spaces.
Overall, a step forward in allowing glass bottles with no spinning to fill, but a step backwards in less convenient supplies that have to be swapped more often at added cost, while wasting more storage space.

Great Soda, anytime.

After unboxing, I put everything together in about 2 minutes, and it was ready to go! We used the lemon drop it came with, which remind me of lemon/ lime skittles. I use two pumps which is the perfect fizz for me. Over all, I’m extremely happy with this product! Cant wait to start my own recipes!

The AquaFizz seems to be well made, and has created several liters of soda water thus far. We have purchased the second gas canister to allow for exchange without lapse in service. We are quite pleased to have a system that eliminates the usage of plastic bottles.
