I love that it's electricity and battery free. It's simple and satisfying. I would prefer no plastic and more glass/metal on the unit itself, and biodegradable material for the syrup bottles. Otherwise, I am extremely pleazzzed.

Sodastream and the penguin

The new aqua fizz just does not have the personality of the old version that was shaped like a penguin and you carbonated the water by pushing down on its beak. That is why I returned my product and bought the penguin version from a store that still had them. Too bad you discontinued the Penguin.

Great Soda Machine for Essential Oil Use

I enjoyed the flavor sample that came with but I use stevia and essential oils to flavor the water. This is only safe to do in glass. I do wish there was a silicone wrap that I could put on the bottles to protect them.

I have later versions of soda stream and like them much better except for one item: they are inable to use glass bottles. That needs to change in order to become a much more highly sold product.

It has been a week and I haven’t gone out to buy seltzer. I like that I can easily add flavor to the bottles. I dont like that i can’t see the air being spritzed in. However otherwise happy with it and my kids are happy that it is much greener then my cans of seltzer.

I had read reviews questioning the ease of use and was pleased to discover no such issues whatsoever. I must admit the image-only instruction card can infuse quite a bit of uncertainty. A step by step detailed video on the site could prove to quell those moments of, “I wonder if I really should be pushing this in this hard or if I’ll break the machine.” moments. I lucked out. We love it. Don’t forget to get extra bottles!
