I love it!

I had an older version of the Aqua Fizz. It died. The new and improved Aqua Fizz is better in every way. It’s effortless.

Does the job!

This works great, of course. My issue is that I'm not used to the chamge in flavor of the water yet. My old SS broke and it used blue canisters. This one uses the pink canisters. Not sure that would change the flavor but nothing else has changed. I'll get ised to it, I know. :)

When I used the wrong canister, Aqua Fizz promptly replaced the entire ensemble, what great service.
This is my third fizzer.

Newer model is better
on December 17, 2023
Posted by: Theresa D.
Before I purchased the newer model that uses the pink canisters, I went through a lot of disappointment with two machines that used the blue canisters. The last one was still within the warranty period, but it sounded like to much trouble to return. The very first machine that I bought gave me many years of reliable results, but the last two after wasted a lot of gas. So far, the new machine is working out nicely.

We've been using, and also giving as gifts, SodaStream units for at least 15 years. Always very happy with the quality! I'm also very, very happy with the customer service. Any questions, concerns or problems I've had have been addressed in the most positive manner possible. I'm a die-hard fan!

User guide for a newbie
on January 7, 2024
Posted by: Squirrel G.
Here's my review going from entire newbie to regular user. It's not to replace an official guide or for skipping others' reviews, though. The first that happened when I got my SodaStream was that I was awkward with using the CO2 cylinder. No confusion about stuffing it in the machine, according to directions. What I was terribly confused about was how much to CO2 to add. I pretty much wasted the whole 1st cylinder I started with. Here's what I do now: I hold the button down while the gas (with a sound) is added into water bottle until I get a couple gassy pop-pops and instantly let go. Then I pause and pour my Diet Pepsi into the cap (for me I like it up to the lowest line inside the cap, but YMMV) to get ready for mixing. I go back to the SodaStream and give the button another push again. Usually it takes virtually no time (like a second?) and I get the pop-pops. I no longer try and continue to push the button to add more CO2 to get more fizziness. It pretty much doesn't work. Perhaps it's a little less than pre-bottled soda from the store, but not less enough to bother me [and I despise plastic waste (and problems with recycling)]. One additional point I'd urge, is that you refrigerate your bottle(s) filled with water prior to injecting CO2. Of course it means it'll be nice to start off to drink, but also, if you drink from the bottle (the glass bottle being fully cold, helps keeps the beverage cold). What many people don't know is that cold water holds more CO2 than warm water does! So pre-refrigerate those bottles of water, even if you pour your soda into a glass with ice.
