So far - a great product

I’ve been using this for 2 weeks now and I think I’m in love! Easy to use, I can get the fizz that I want, and no mess. I drink about 4 liters a day so I use it a lot. I am anxious to see how it holds up to all this use but I’m glad to not be buying and storing seltzer cans any more.

Not very strong carbonation

Had an older SodaStream w the very large canisters, gave it away, replaced with this Fizz model that uses glass bottles. Love the way the water tastes in glass, but the carbonation is weak, and takes a long time to achieve even that.

I love the fact that you can select the level of carbonation that you want with this item. I would suggest sending more set up instructions along with the product at first but I contacted customer service and they were able to assist me with what I was doing wrong

Great bubbles

We love our new Aqua Fizz and glass carafes! This is a fabulous upgrade for us. It works fast. And glass seems to keep the water colder. We said it before, but customer service is the best we have ever experienced. Thanks to Sodastream!

Marvelous . . . But!

In every way except one I love this product. The loss of one star is because sometimes, despite pushing the bottle up as far as it will go and clicking the plastic guide out towards me, the bottle will leak and spray around the area of the unit. This is not the initial problem where I did not realize I had to push the bottle as far as it would go, this is despite doing so. Otherwise, this is a great product producing marvelous carbonated water and I love the lemon and lime drops that add just that little bit of flavor. And it makes me very happy not to be filling our recycle barrel with either aluminum cans or plastic bottles.

Saving money while helping the planet? Yes, please!

I struggle to drink enough water and found that sparkling water helps me out. But buying boxes of cans was bumming me out because of all the packaging and transport. Now I have a cost effective way of getting my sparkle on without the guilt and so much less costly in my budget!

Just what I needed! I am an avid seltzer drinker but was finding carrying multiple bottles 5 blocks home to be a lot! I thought this looked like a great solution and I will never look back!

Not as easy as it looks

My husband drinks sparking water almost exclusively and the number of bottles per day can vary depending on the weather.
If we could still purchases bottled sparkling water in stores, we would. It takes extra time to not only make up the individual bottles using the SodaStream, but also washing the bottles and making sure We have the extra cylinders of CO2 on hand. Plus there is the extra expense of purchasing more approved .5 liter bottles because that is the most convenient size for our needs. We end of wasting the full liter bottles or else we have to recarbonate because they go flat one they have been opened. We have decided to just refrigerate water in the bottles for a day or two and just carbonate them before using. Also, wish that we could add the flavoring with the water so we don’t have to mess around with that step wasting precious CO2.
The one thing I do like about this system is the positive environmental effect of reusing the bottles.
