I originally bought the cheap machine to see how i liked it. I used it a lot and decided to upgrade to the machine that used the glass carafe. I definitely like the glass much better. The machine has been working just fine for quite a few months now.

Sparkling away

We've own a push-button soda stream for a decade but when a part broke we decided to level up to a One Touch Soda Stream. We are so impressed and delighted with the amount of sparkles it produces and how easy it is to remove the bottle from the machine. Love it!

Instructions suck and you have to hit one of the buttons a couple of times. Once you find out how to work it properly it's fine (by calling customer support). Not crazy about how many times you have to hit the button (so it's really not "one touch". All in all, now I'm happy with it.

Our old soda stream broke and, after I let the company know, they replaced it immediately. I loved the first one, which is no longer made, but I love my new Aqua Fizz even better. Works smoothly and is easy to regulate for how intensely bubbly, or not, you like your soda. Very happy!

Unreliable seal and carbonation

I upgraded from the original Genesis soda stream machine because I wanted glass bottles, hoping to reduce the micro plastics we consume. The Aqua Fizz is totally unreliable. It seems as though the bottle doesn’t always make a tight seal with the carbonator, allowing the gas to just escape instead of being infused into the water. You can press the button 20 times and the only thing that occurs is the water bubbles out into the bottom of the bottle holder. Every once and a while it seems to get a good seal and then 3 short bursts the machine makes a noise and you are good to go. The design needs some work, the bottle needs to screw on like the other machines. As a long time Sodastream user I am very disappointed.

Made good sparkling water, a bit of an after taste, the bottle leaks when the co2 is being applied, have not yet tried the cylinder exchange yet
