Fresh bubbles are the best

I have the Aqua Fizz and it works perfectly. I always pull out the carafe and have a taste with the comment "there's nothing like freshly carbonated water" and a big smile. With the glass carafes I feel better about further reducing plastic use.

I drink a ton of Pellegrino each day n night. This is so much better. I highly recommend. Buy more bottles then you think you need as everyone in the house will use it.

Cheaply made. Disappointing—Not in the same league as the Penguin

We had a Soda Stream “Penguin” for well over 10 (maybe almost 15) years. Loved it. When it died, we purchased the Air Fizz, thinking we’d be getting a similar model (plus we love the glass bottles), an upgrade even, but this is a piece of junk. It does not carbonate nearly well—no matter how many times you press the button (and use a lot more gas to do so).That it doesn’t have the “whistle” when ready features is a loss. To top it all off, it is cheap-looking, flimsy plastic!
So disappointed!
At least the bottles are still nice (but why, of why, did they have to make them a slightly different size than the originals???).
I wish there were some better option out there but feel stuck.
I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

What a relief... no more bottles littering the kitchen counter... and no more fruitless recycling (our city no longer separates recyclables. :( We love having the ability to conjure up a fizzy beverage in an instant! Wish we had done this sooner. The Farmins :)

Locking mechanism broke

Two years old and it is non-functional. The handle is stuck and won't turn in either direction. There is no way to service this, believe me I tried for a couple of hours to get it apart so I could fix it but ended up just breaking it so I could get the glass bottle out. We ended up just ordering a new one, but not the same model and guess what? The gas bottles are different. *sigh* Please make these serviceable.
