One small disappointment

My daughter in Germany has Soda Stream workhorse w/ metal casethat looks just like the Aqua Fizz. It's what I hoped this one would be as I threw away a plastic soda stream model w/ different press top w/ a small plastic part that broke. Love the glass carafes. Previous model's were plastic.

sweet soda in a can replacement

It's pretty koo, took a sec to figure out not to over fill the bottle, cause if you do it makes weird sounds and spills out. Once you figure out that sweet spot, it carbonates quickly, if you stop once it does the weird loud sound, it gives you amazing sparkling water. Throw in some flavor and it tastes great. The sparkle lasts a couple days but you can always re-sparkle it.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas - he loves sparkling water so much I thought he might enjoy making his own. Previous models I looked at looked cheap, and I knew he preferred the glass bottled brands. The new Aqua Fizz with glass bottles is perfect - nice looking, and even better tasting.

Great product. I owned a soda stream years ago. Similar in use, but new design is great and absolutely love the glass bottles. Will be saving tons of $$ and keeping hundreds of cans out of my recycling bins every year.
