Problem with welds showing on griddle surface

During our griddle manufacturing process, we weld reinforcing bars to the bottom of the griddle tops to prevent warping. Sometimes, there is a little discoloration on the top of the griddle where these tack welds are made. This is completely normal.\n\nAs you season your griddle top, those weld marks will be covered in your seasoning, and given time, you won’t be able to see them.\n
