The 17” is a good size to cook on for a family if 5. I wish it fits in the rv compartments better but if taken apart we were able to make it fit.

This grill is FANTASTIC!!!!! After following the seasoning directions I am very happy to report it cooks like a non-stick pan, heats pretty evenly, cleans up very easily, and has zero indications of rust, discoloration or paint blistering. I used it everyday for a six day RV outing and it worked beautifully. I wish I had purchased it sooner than I did. For those who reviewed it saying it rusts after use, it would seem you did not properly season it, or are cleaning it incorrectly.
