it works..however every time I go to light it I have to try multiple times before it will light.
The design of the burner could be improved...it has hot and cold spots which with time I will learn how to cook that way

Thus is my 3rd Bkackstone and I love it like the others. I only gave 4 stars because it's the hardest one to light. If your looking to take on picknicks etc the backpack carrier (the only option)is perfect but you half to remove the rubber feet to get it to fit.

Even after seasoning, two bare spots show up on griddle right below heating element. Even though I grease them over and over again, they still show up as if never seasoned at all. Not sure what to do about this issue. I would've given five stars if not for this problem. Griddle does get extremely hot over 750°. So be careful.

Seasoning was simple with Blackstone's new seasoning product. Repeated the process 5 times and then put the griddle in the oven for an hour at 500 degrees. It came out perfectly black with no oil residue.
