Actually I'm seasoning The Griddle top now as I write this review fairly easy process starting to get a nice deep rich black coat looking forward to putting the meat on the griddle

Ignition difficult to adjust

First impression on first use. The manual states to ensure the piezoelectric probe needs to be adjusted between 3-7mm above a hole in the burners tube. Nowhere does it offer any guidance how best to make that adjustment. I’ve tried bending it with fingers and pliers hoping I don’t break it in the process with so success. And I might be the only Blackstone consumer ever without a small metric ruler.
Got it to work once but it wouldn’t stay set. As yet I still can’t seem to find that sweet spot to get consistent ignition. Better guidance in the manual or easier adjustment would be much appreciated . Thanks to matches I at least have been able to cook a couple meals on it and onto can get it lit, it’s fine.

Small, portable, feels like a solid product. Wish it would've came with a lifting/lowering handle-attached hood. Maybe I can find one separate online. Would have been really cool to not have to go looking for one. Nice overall.

I have a 36” Blackstone that I use all the time. It will be nice to use the 17” for tailgating at Packer Games. Go Pack Go!!!!!
