Great griddle but poor quality control

I love blackstone! I’ve grown up around these and I decided to try one for myself. Worked exactly how it needed, my only complaint is I have a large bump on the right center section of the griddle.

Weld spot on grilling surface

I was given this as a gift. Upon opening to prepare to season, I noticed a welding spot on surface, approximately 3/16” in diameter and approximately 1/8” high. See photos
