Good way to get exclusive prints and pieces.

If you are a Harry Potter Fan and want to get some of the pieces that have been printed and made for the more expensive sets, this would be a good buy (Private Drive sign, some of the minifigs, wand box). They did a good job including many of the different iconic moments from the series. I like that you can play a game at the end of opening all the little builds. I think it is a bit expensive for the number of parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Missing pieces, poor packing

My daughter was super excited about this and was making sure only building each day and was so excited to get to the end. Then on her last day she opened it up and it had the wrong pack it in there it was a duplicate for a different day. She was extremely disappointed and felt like he wasted an entire month of building this. Then when she showed me and I looked it up she was actually missing other pieces as well that she didn't even know were missing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Missing Mini figure

We loved this. Until we got to day 20 and found no Hermione Granger as pictured, but rather a second table from day 8. Total bummer.

Mildly disappointed

I am a huge Harry Potter Lego fan and have several sets of Harry Potter legos, however, I have to say I was very disappointed in this years advent calendar compared to years past. Some of the advent days didn’t even have things to build inside and rather just a bunch of little pieces, which I found disappointing since you buy legos to build them. I feel like the value of this year’s calendar was very minimal and compared to last years and unless the pieces to next year’s calendar are more exciting, I will not be purchasing again.

I am glad I didn't use this as an advent calendar it would have been disappointing. There was one missing entirely and many of the items were in the wrong slot. The directions were not helpful in creating some of the items. The gameboard was clever but I feel like it was missing any game suggestions or rules. Overall this product seemed far below the quality level of other Harry Potter Lego sets I have built.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Much to be desired.

1. There needs to be instructions to not rip the front of the box since it’s the “game board”… I opened all of my components, the instructions although i knew would be pictures, some were still jot explained well. I had to refer to google to see the purpose of some of them and how they worked.
2. I got 2 Malfoys instead of a Hedwig, very sad about that. It just was a little bit confusing and a bit underwhelming for the price of It all. I feel kind of bad for those who will actually use It as an advent calendar.

Extremely disappointed

I have multiple Harry Potter sets and this is my third Harry Potter Advent Calendar and it has been very disappointing. I still haven’t opened all the days but each day I open is another disappointment. A pile of gold? A Wand case? A table? So many small items by themselves that don’t make sense. Except for the figurines, I haven’t seen anything special on this set that made it worth. There is one item that I still haven’t figured out what is it. It’s a very boring set. I do not recommend!
