Having multiple surgeries on my feet and ankles, I needed something soothing and release tightness in my lower extremities.
I am impressed and grateful to have an amentity like this in my home.
Initially, i did encounter some uncomfortableness in my toes during my first few massages. I decided to wear socks, and no more discomfort. With my feet and legs barely being massaged prior to this purchase, I figured I need to build up desensitizing my feet to this type of movement and pressure.
It worked, after a few uses I can place both legs and feet on Intensity 3 without any discomfort.
I am impressed and grateful to have an amentity like this in my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is massive! Its not overbearing with weight. Its pretty easy to use. Just plug in and then hit the power button. You can switch between different settings. Some pulse and some massage. With that being said....I wear a size 11 shoe in women. I have a normal width foot. This thing is a little tight when I put my foot in.When it starts the massage process, it kinda crushes your foot and it doesnt feel good. It feel way too tight. The calf part of it is wonderful. This part fits nicely. Its not too tight or loose. It works great! The only other part of it I am not liking is when it turns off, it gets really tight then releases as it decompresses (best word I guess)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I both use this and it is so wonderful. It relaxes you. I do feel it is too tight for some. My daughter is 23 and is skinny. I am older than that :) but my legs are not fat. My husband feels it squeezes him too much.

Give a nice massage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HoMedics Therapist Select Foot & Calf Massager gives a nice massage. There are 4 programs and 3 intensity settings. The intensity is misleading in my opinion as it is really more like speed. I thought I would start at intensity setting 1, which is slow, but I like 3 better because it doesn't hold as long. There are two types of massage, rolling and compression. Each of the 4 programs does a combination of both. Program 1 is very basic, with the programs going up in complexity. I like programs 3 and 4 the best. This really does a good job on feet and calves. I am short and I did find myself needing to slide my feet back into place because the rollers would cause them to slide forward. It really isn't an issue though. I love the adjustable bar on the bottom so the massager can recline back. This makes it more comfortable to use in a home environment. I appreciate that the cloth covers can be removed to be cleaned. They are easy to remove and replace with the zipper enclosures. The only thing I took issue with is the cord is short so it would be nice if the cord were longer, otherwise I need to use an extension cord for it to be placed where I can use it. Cord storage in the back when not in use would also be a great addition, but not a deal breaker so I would still recommend this for its intense massaging ability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to try this as I have sensitive feet. I found as long as you keep the controls on the lower settings it is not that overwhelming. My other half of course cranked it right up and then said it felt like it was ripping his feet off of him. I haven't ventured that high in the settings myself, because I found lower settings are perfect. They feel like a professional deep tissue massage!

The Therapist Select Foot & Calf Massager has been great at soothing our aches and pains after 10 hours on our feet every work day. I bought this massager for my mom who suffers from edema on both her feet and she says it’s the best purchase I could have made. She uses it daily and it really helped relieve the heaviness that she feels from her edema. Apart from my mom using it, I like to use it myself just to relax while I watching t.v., if you’re debating on rather on it to purchase this massager, just do it you won’t regret it.

I hate reviewing an item when I haven’t had it long enough to attest to longevity, but I am doing so now because I might forget to later. So far, glad I made this purchase as I suffer from seriously achy calves that wake me throughout the night in pain. I have used this massager daily for 4 days now and have not woken up from pain yet. My calves are a little bigger than average so this puppy puts a squeeze on them, and I love it. My feet are medium width and this is the perfect squeeze for me there. I can say this thing has helped quickly reduce swelling in my calves as it is almost too tight when I start it, to perfect by the time it ends. My legs still throb throughout the day, but not waking up to the deep throbbing pain has been a blessing. I really hope this massager lasts a long time. While it was worth the cost in my opinion, i honestly cannot say I would consider having to replace it every size months or year, or even couple of years. I have a pile of broken devices that are problematic to get recycled, so longevity of a purchase will be important to me. Five stars on this for me as long as it keeps working!
