[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my doubts on how well this would work but I am so pleasantly surprised! I sat down to test it for 2 minutes and ended up being there for over 30 min! It's super comfortable to sit in with the gel cushion and stays in place without sliding out from under you. Has normal rolling and shiatsu mode and you can adjust the width of the rollers which is key because everyone is built a little differently. Warming mode does get warm but not as much as a heating pad would (which is fine). Overall I'm very happy and pleasantly surprised with how well it performs. Would definitely recommend!

This HoMedics - Gentle Touch Gel Massage Cushion with heat is amazing!. you can controll anything! it has velcro belts to fasten on to to the chair so it does not move, the Massaging Cusshion is a good size so even people with larger dimensions have no problems to enjoy it. it has a remote controll that is easy to use, with an on button, i recomend first to do the Demo button so you can feel it all, and then you can personalize your massage however you want it, upper or lower back,or both,the speed,if you wantRolling or Shiatsu Massage. if you want heat. I like that you can sprad the massage, if you want it more on your spin or more apart like shoulderplate etc. It also massages your neck and lower head. It is easy to use, and easy to clean. i highly recommend HoMedics Gentle touch Gel Massage Cushion, it relaxes completly!!!!

Both my wife tried the cushion. It was uncomfortable to sit on with the power on or off, the gel balla felt like they were stabbing our lower back. It is impossible for us to sit comfortable on the cushion. While that was the worst, the balls, or whatever strikes the back, cause pain rather than comfort regardless of where it beat us on the back. We will be returning it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this for the adjustability of the massage functions...that was a mistake.
You cannot relax into the pad as the pressure on your back is too severe. We thought the vibrating function would be a good alternative but, in contrast, the vibration is so weak you can barely feel it- musch less than our older Homedics chise type massager. Look elsewhere.

This is the second time I purchased this product. The first one lasted almost 15 years, that's a good period of use.

I bought this for my husband and he LOVES it. His back had been feeling tight for months, but this massager has corrected that (shiatsu is his fave). I've been enjoying it as well! It's a lovely way to wind down at the end of the day. We specifically wanted a model that didn't contain leather, and this one was just right. We're delighted with this purchase.

I have used the standard XL version and found it to be very effective, this version builds on that with a nice layer of gel in a somewhat more relaxing experience. If you are more sensitive or have not a lot of meat on your bones this model may be better for you. I’m just thrilled to be able to get this kind of a true massage experience for a portable machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would to afford a weekly professional massage, but this is the next best thing. I use mine often! At first, it took a day or two to learn the remote settings, but by day three I figured it all out. It’s very comfortable and versatile and quiet. You just have to make sure you use it in a sturdy chair. I tried put it in on my couch and we just sunk in. We definitely recommend!
