I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter who has trouble sleeping. She enjoyed listening to it and it helped her fall asleep, but it stopped working after just one week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Randomly switches modes; now doesn't work at all

This is a pretty expensive alarm clock/sound machine, and I would have expected it to last more than a year or so. I put up with the random sound/mode switching, which will definitely startle you in the middle of the night. But now it's just stopped working altogether. I am pretty disappointed.

Cant use headphones

Bought this for my wife. Overall, she loves it. But why does it not have the ability to use Bluetooth headphones? I can stream to it, but not from it? Makes no sense. Now the fairly expensive sleep band headphones I gifted her are useless, and she can't use the sleep machine because it keeps me up, making it either unusable, or we have to go to bed at seperate times, making it extremely inconvenient. What were the designers of this product thinking? If anyone has a work around, id love to hear it. In the mean time, ill be looking for alternatives.

Started changing sounds and volume on its own

I've had this for about 2 years. I loved it until it just randomly started changing sounds and volume on its own in the middle of the night. Will be getting a different brand. It's not pleasant to wake up to blaring chimes after falling asleep to a quiet brook. Sounds like this is a recurring problem.
We really like it and mostly use the zen meditation to fall asleep at night. We use the Chimes for the alarm and it is definitely loud enough. Like a few others wrote, the directions can seem confusing but with a careful reading, they made sense and were not difficult. We've used it for about a month and would recommend it to others.
