I had one of these 18 years ago it finally gave up running 2 months ago. I purchased this for Christmas. It has 2 more features that I didnt have before..the heat & vibration which I haven't tried yet. I wish the massage rollers would go a bit higher to reach my traps.

Soothing Heat?

I bought this a few days ago, have used it 3 times and I don’t feel any heat. They say soothing heat, but there is no “heat”. Unless it’s only coming from the nodes. Then, it really isn’t heat, at least I don’t feel anything. I love the massage though, just wish it actually had.... like a heating pad.

We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the massager. The massage nodes will glow red indicating that the heat has been activated. The shiatsu massage must be selected for the heat to turn on. The massage cushion will product a low, mild heat. It will not get as warm as a heating pad. I purchased one of these about 12 years ago and it still works but started making a louder noise when operating. This is my second one. Such a great product I can't do with out one.

I really thought this would give us the relief we were looking for. There's nothing wrong with the design or features and it all worked well BUT the main problem is the hardness of the Nodes. In some areas of the back it was tolerable but in others it was downright painful and we had to return it.
A major design change is needed to address these problems for those of us who have more sensitive and older backs. I suggest using something more in line with the give of a racquet ball or tennis ball. This would still give firmness yet also more cushion. Build one like that and I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
Really loved the product with just this one BIG issue.

Easy to use, just lay in on a chair, couch, etc and plug it in! Control is easy to use as well. Can use it on your lower, middle, or upper back. Also has an aberration. on the bottom where you sit! It’s a must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a massage cushion and this Homedics - 8-Node Shiatsu Plus Massage Cushion with Soothing Heat is a great find this is amazing it is easy to set up and use. This cushion is so comfortable the massage part is so nice to sit and relax and loosen some tight muscles. The heat is so nice to sit and relax and with the massager and heat mix you are sure to be comfortable in no time. This massage cushion is so nice it is made with quality materials and very attractive.

Back Pain Relief

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family just began using the Homedics 8 Node Shiatsu Plus massage cushion with soothing heat, and it has rendered a “thumbs up” from each of us. The cushion seat is great because it’s portable and easy to use. Depending on the user, it’s functions are customizable. One can target the upper back, lower back or full back or switch to a vibration massage to help relieve back soreness and pain. My wife and I enjoy the deep tissue massage but my elderly mom finds that setting too painful for her sensitive back. She prefers to use just the vibration mode. Mom says that this seat works as well as her chiropractor. It’s also a much cheaper alternative than buying a bulky massage chair. Would recommend.

The seat vibrates to work my thighs it feels great. The heating element is so wonderful. Even the remote control is easy to use. It’s very practical. So glad I picked it up.
