the remote access is great

My wife and I got the VTech digital monitor and I can help but to look at the monitor all the time. Just to make sure everything is safe around are kid.

Just Bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mother of 3, our youngest having special needs. I have been using a baby monitor for 23 years straight. I have owned several over the last couple decades. This is one of the worst. On a positive note, the screen display is clean and crisp- great picture. The app was easy to get set up and synced and I like that it can record and save video (handy for me since our son has seizures). However, this takes so long to start up once turned on. I counted a good 20-25 seconds every single time. Then once it is on there's a 50/50 chance it finds a connection, even when connected to Wi-Fi. I had to restart the camera every other use. When it is in use, the delay is a good 5-6 seconds. I could here my child cry down the hallway long before I heard it on the monitor. In the morning before my child woke, the monitor, unplugged, ran out of power after 2 hours so I had to switch to the app. Like I said, I have had a few video monitors, both Wi-Fi and closed circuit, and never had issues like this. There are better options out there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for anyone who has or os having a baby . The monitor is full hd and has wide angle viewing . The screen is high definition and lcd display so you can see everything your baby is doing clearly .It has a built in night light so you can see at night as well .It also has live remote access via smart phone or tablet so you can see anytime anywhere.It has motion detection as well with video recording. It contains calming melodies and white noise to soothe your baby as well.

VTech 5" Video monitor can also be used with or without wifi .I love the wide angle viewing capabilities, built-in night light,with live remote access via smartphone over an app. I love the motion detection , temperature read on screen,The VTech 5 " video monitor even has soothing sounds and lullabies and there's no monthly fees or subscriptions needed.Its amazing video with night vision is superb.I love this easy to use and system.Vtech has delivered a must have baby monitor that every home should have. Quality is amazing.

There's so much more to this product, but if you're looking for a quick way to monitor your kids, this is the product for you. Nice display. Easy to hear. Easy to see

Love Being Able To See Baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor is really cool! Not only can I hear my baby but I can see and talk to him as well! I absolutely love that! You can talk to them through the handheld system. It will alert you when baby moves. It also has soothing sounds and lullabies!
