Excellent features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so the fact that I can record on this thing is huge! I’m not a paranoid mom or anything, but it’s just nice having the piece of mind that I can go back and look at anything I might need to. Also…nanny cam? Not bad!!!

So easy to use for baby

The camera is really easy to set up and get started. It is a really good quality image, and I love that I can keep track or my baby whether he is sleeping or just playing in his room. I love how much I can see my baby now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the VTech Digital 5" Video Monitor Fixed FHD with Remote Access seems to be a solid video baby monitor. Extremely simple to setup and hooked up to our wifi in just a few mins. The video monitors screen size is large and images are very clear. You can tilt and rotate the camera from the monitor itself, it will play music, and gives you a temperature of the room. Given the large size of the monitors screen is about the same weight as my cell phone. It also has standard features such as night vision, a mic to communicate, or pre installed lullaby. There is also mobile app you can install that will allow you to view the camera on phone or tablet. A great feature is that you can take screen shots or video with your phone. The camera is controllable through the app and the monitors unit. In the future I could see us using this to keep an eye on things when we have a sitter. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for an good quality monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good camera to leave stationary in the best view. As it says, its fixed, meaning doesnt pan the room at all. The direction pas is only for helping navigate the menus. It does zoom in so placement is vital to get the whole area but just dont set it to where the baby may move out of range since you cant follow. Love how clear the pic is. Sound alerts are extra sensitive.

Great overall monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this monitor with plans for day to day use. There are so many things that I love about it. I love the screen size. I can see what I need to see clearly. I love the two way talk feature. When you use it during the toddler years, this becomes very handy instead of always going in and out of the room to soothe our little one. The access from your device makes being a working parent much more comforting, as you can see what your little one is up to while you aren't able to be home with them. It also can help you keep your baby safe from potential harm or neglect at the hands of a caretaker. The camera has a night light, which is a must. There are lullabies that you can play. That is a take-it-or-leave-it feature for me personally. The temp sensor is also a must have feature. It can help us ensure our child sleeps comfortably. Night vision is a standard must have nowadays. This monitor has all the bells and whistles and at a decent price.

Work from home Mom!

This constantly disconnects and it’s incredibly frustrating. I’d be even more frustrated if it was in my nursery. I like the nightlight feature but I am not a fan of the technical glitch. It’s not our wireless dropping. The router is in that room and we have an absurdly powerful wireless mesh system covering our whole property,

Best monitor we’ve had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 2 daughters and have gone through 3 sets of monitors before we found this one. With the others we were constantly plugged in because of short battery life or a blurry small hard to see screen. This had a large clear display and the battery lasts almost all night without a charge and definitely through all naps! It’s the best we have found so far and it is so nice to have the app as an option too!
