Easy to set up and with good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor is for my 9-month-old daughter. The HD screen is excellent quality. I also like that there is a smart app to use on the phone, instead of the remote screen.
Besides, I like that there are a lot of features and functions. The build in night light is convenient, especially when I feed her at night. Soothing sounds and lullabies are great to put the baby to sleep. Set up is very quick which is good if you need to travel.
The two downsides are camera view and battery life. Battery life seems to drain quickly but works fine if you have it plug it in. The inability to adjust the camera view is also something that I hope it can be changed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VTech Digital 5" Video Monitor Fixed FHD with Remote Access is great! I love how it gives me a complete view of my daughter's room. The option to view it on my phone is the best! I'm able to help calm my baby down from work when my husband calls me. It's nice getting sound-triggered alerts on my phone. The color and view is beautiful. I highly recommend.

A great monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor is really a revolutionary product. Uses LCD, heat sensor and sound technology. Easy to install and can be accessed fron the smartphone too. The LCD is very clear. Heat sensor is a great feature.

A baby monitor with good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like this vtech baby monitor a lot. It was fairly easy to get it ready to use. Our favorite features are the night light and being able to play music or soothing sounds. We also like the app that can be downloaded and connected to the baby monitor. From the app you can take pictures and videos of your baby.
The only complaint we have is that the talk feature doesn't work as well as we would like.

Misses the Mark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept behind this monitor is great, but I find some of the key features to be lacking. First, I'll start with the good points. The remote control nightlight and music features are awesome -- I love being able to check (remotely) to make sure the nightlight is on without having to open the door and being able to activate it or turn it off remotely. Seriously, this is the best feature they could have possibly added to any baby monitor. The night vision works fine. The daytime picture is crystal clear. Love it. The camera comes with a mounting bracket or you can put it on a dresser -- very flexible. The parent control unit has a nice large screen and you can connect to an app and view the camera over WiFi if you want to. That kind of weirds me out, but I can see where it would be handy. All of these are great features, so why 3 stars you may ask?
Well, the range isn't super. We live in a split ranch, so the kid bedrooms are on one side of the house and the master is on the other. The monitor often says weak signal when the camera is in the twins' room and the parent unit is in the master bedroom. Finagling with the antenna fixes it, but if we had put the twins in the farthest bedroom from the master, the signal wouldn't reach. So I'm not 100% sure it maintains signal all night long and that's a big negative to me. On top of that, you can't control the camera with the parent unit like you can with other V-Tech video monitors. The instructions make it almost seem like you can, but I've pressed all the buttons, multiple times, and you cannot. You can zoom in and out, but you can't move the camera up, down, left or right without physically being in the room. That seems like a big downgrade from other V-Tech video monitors and a feature that I really miss. This probably wouldn't be a big deal if you wall mount the monitor, but when it's on a dresser and can get knocked during the day without noticing, it's a big deal to not be able to make small adjustments to see the babies. So for the range and the lack of camera control, I can only give this monitor 3 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who would have ever thought we would be using technology like this to see our babies?! I love it. I will probably never replace this video monitor. I have a 16 month old, and we like to be able to still keep an eye in his room at night. This works so amazingly. We can even connect to our phones, which I LOVE. The camera has a cute little night light and it works so efficiently. This is a great quality video monitor.

The image is so clear and easy to see. The menu is super easy to operate and I love that it plays noise as well as has a light. I would definitely recommend.

It has a night light, clear picture on monitor, you can hear and talk through it and you can even download the app on your phone to be able to watch your baby from anywhere! It is definitely the best one I've ever had!
