The filter was very easy to assemble following the instructions manual and the wait for the PureVis wand charge was well worth it. I also like that water pours smoothly, away from other parts of the canister, thus keeping it dry. Another great feature is that it can be refilled without opening/touching any parts; water pressure opens the canister and you can remove it as soon as the light flickers. The water is always clear and fresh. Great product

Heavy & Tempermental

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pitcher itself is much heavier than expected. Trying to fill the pitcher is a big challenge. Sometimes the lid "works" as expected but other times the lid refuses to budge and you have water going everywhere except where it's supposed to including the pitcher spout. They should consider adding a lip to prevent water from entering the spout and/or adding a "sweet spot" indicator on the lid of where the faucet water should hit to make the lid dip as it should.

Everything I could ask for. Live in an older place with plumbing to match. The city water does not taste the best either. Was drinking alot of bottled water. The water from the LARQ pitcher tastes better than the bottled water.

Fabulous and Foolish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent! The water tastes pure and I feel like there is an extra layer of protection with the UV light. The foolish part came after I watched a review stating that the opening of the pitcher was not functional and the water did not poor as efficiently as hoped. I thought the same until my daughter realized their were two foam pieces that needed to be removed prior to use! Hilarious!

Some needed design changes for the lid because the water touches the top of the lid to fill. Or you can use your finger to push the lid down. The tabs on the hopper make it hard to properly clean between the tabs and the hopper and will inhibit unwanted growth even with monthly cleaning.
