Biggest issue is unless it’s dark out or you use this in a garage there is NO WAY that you can see what the probe temperature is or what the temperature is in the cook area. Too dimly lit to see it. Even if you shade it. You can’t see the digital readouts so I have no clue what the thing is doing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using this smoker for months now. it works and done a great job. I have smoked pork, turkey beef and seafood it does an amazing job perfectly. can't wait till winter still going to use it and smoke meat. have the terminal blanket for it for when it gets cold. my kids are looking forward to eating bbq when it cold and snow on the ground.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first pellet smoker and love it, simple and easy to use, did ribs for the first round and they were moist and delicious, look forward to turkey breast for Thanksgiving. Smoke on!!
