Great “insurance” while sleeping

Before our first child was born, we thought we may be being a bit overprotective by getting the Owlet sock. However, after our son was born nearly a month early, the Owlet sock provided much need peace of mind and sleep “insurance”. If in the same room as the monitor, the sock works perfectly! Sometimes when in a different room of the house the sock alarms with connection issues. The connection issues seems to be due to our baby’s placement (feet crunched up when snuggling/feeding). Sock placement took a bit to master but after a few times we got the hang of it. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase. It is much easier to sleep when the baby sleeps knowing we will be alerted if needed. The Owlet sock was especially useful in the first few weeks at home! The app is user friendly. It is nice being able to see Owlet sock stats and Owlet video capture on the same screen. In a world full of apps, consolidation is helpful!

Love it!

We put this on our registry and we’re so thrilled to see it come in the mail. I delivered at almost 33 weeks and our baby girl was in the NICU for 15 days. The sock gave us peace of mind being able to check on her heart rate and oxygen constantly. The oxygen is really helpful to keep an eye on during feedings. We are very thankful for this product

Awesome product

I bought the owlet before my son was born to give me peace of mind since he would be sleeping in his own bed. I’ve been using the Owlet sock since bringing my son home from the hospital (2 weeks ago) and it has definitely proved itself essential. I love knowing if my baby’s heart rate or oxygen levels drops below normal ranges, an alarm will sound to notify me to check on him. I would definitely recommend to all parents of newborns.

Peace of mind

This review reflects my experience with and opinion of this product as an actual customer. Note: I received a small incentive for posting my opinion. This was for our second baby and our primary concern was to monitor breathing. The first time around we tried a cheaper option, the snuza, because I had heard mixed reviews of the owlet and false alarms. The snuza would become dislodged and give us frequent false alarms, but it was cheaper than the owlet. This time around we wanted something that would not do this and provide us better peace of mind. One of my friends lost her child to SUDC and uses a monitor with her new baby so I valued her opinion. She uses the neebo which has unfortunately been unavailable. There are not very many options on the market that have pulse oximetry so these were the two devices we looked at. She reported the owlet gave her false alarms the first night she used it so I was hesitant to purchase the owlet, however, we have not had issues and it’s worked great for us. There were some alarms the first night but this was due to the learning curve/not false alarms for us. My only complaint is that the range of the base is not great. We have it in our bedroom for now where our bassinet is, but the first night we came home baby still had nights and days mixed up and would not settle in his bassinet. We were taking turns staying up with him/rocking him in his room which is no more than 100 feet from the base and it would disconnect every time we went in there. We are otherwise pleased with our purchase and like how the app allows us to monitor him from our phones. The battery life has been good and it charges quickly. It has given us comfort to have this monitoring-especially with a 2 year old running around and our attention being more divided than it was with one child.

A Must Have!

My son was born Jun 3rd 2021 and our 1st night at the hospital was filled with worry and excitement. Though he had no medical conditions that we were aware of, I was in constant worry about SIDS. I had previously heard about the Owlet Smart Sock and was hesitant due to the large price point. I knew once we were discharged, despite the cost, I had to have it if I wanted to ever sleep again. Needless to say it had served its purpose and some. I have not had any issues with the smart sock and I would definitely recommend to any new parents.

Highly Recommend!!!

I have this for my 2 week old babygirl. She is a heart patient and the peace of mind this little sock gives me is priceless!. It's comfy and she does not even notice it's on. It shows her heartrate and BP and has loud alerts to notify me if either one is off. It even tracks her sleep patterns in organized graphs, showing me if she is in a light or a deep sleep!. The graphs are so organized, I show her Doctor at her checkups and she is greatful as well!. It was well worth every penny I paid for it and it will last her for a long time as it came with different size socks to switch them out as her little starts to grow! I love this device!! And so does baby Kehlani ☺

Real Lifesaver!

I purchased 2 of the Owlet 3 Socks right after my twins were born at 25 weeks. They just recently came home after 94 days in Nicu, both on oxygen and Apnea monitors, which do not show their oxygen levels or heart rate. The Apnea machines only alert an alarm when their oxygen gets below 80. Luckily, I have the owlet and one day, I noticed my sons oxygen levels were hanging right about 81, too high to set the Apnea but still too low for my liking. I bumped up his oxygen and quickly took him to the ER where we then had to stay for 3 days increasing his oxygen and then decreasing almost back to the normal rate. Without the Owlet I would've never known he was struggling or having a hard time breathing because he was hovering the safe zone on his Apnea machine and wasn't showing any signs of discomfort. I'll always be thankful for the owlet socks and will always recommend.

Great Product to have!

I bought this product in my last trimester of pregnancy after being a very scared and anxious first time mom. It was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. I put the sock on my baby boy, who is now one week , every night and it eases my anxiety . I love the features that it includes monitoring the oxygen level and if anything decreases it will alert the base station and your phone. I absolutely love this product and would 100% recommend it!
