Not worth the money

We’ve been using our owlet for 2 months now and I’m pretty disappointed. It’s a great idea but poorly executed, especially for the price. The range the sock alerts you is way too low, the baby could be brain dead by the time it finally alerts you something is wrong. Secondly, I hate that of the WiFi goes out or the sock disconnects from the WiFi (which happens fairly frequently it doesn’t tell you, it just stops working it connects via bluetooth so I don’t understand why it needs to be connected to WiFi to use anyways. Third, It doesn’t give you readings if the baby is “wiggling”, one or the other. Which also s doesn’t make sense to me, he could be choking and wiggling in a panic and it won’t alert us, It just Says that he is wiggling. Lastly the range from the base is terrible. We live in a smaller home (1600 square feet) and it won’t reach across the house. We put the sock on and then he usually falls asleep in the living room where he eats and it constantly disconnects from the base due to being out of range. It almost seems to me the company had a great idea, made the product knowing people would buy it, and then just stopped improving. With all that said, it’s a great idea and it when it does work we do sleep better at night having it on him
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Total piece of junk

Sound is constantly going down on the cam. I can see my baby but can’t hear her. Which makes the “monitor” aspect useless. I have to disconnect and reconnect the WiFi ATLEAST once a week to get it working correctly. WiFi is great in my home so there should be no reason why the device keeps disconnecting. Sock takes forever to get babies readings and stats. I actually had to have a new sock and base sent to me because the precious one constantly said it couldn’t connect to the base. More frustrated than happy with the product for sure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wouldn’t have a baby again without the Owlet!

We purchased the Owlet smart sock right after our first baby was born premature at 34 weeks. From that day on we’ve used it every day! We loved having it for our first son as it gives you such a piece of mind and helps calm the parent nerves. We now just gave birth to our second son and immediately started using it for him as well. The customer service has also been excellent which says so much about a company! Thank you Owlet from our family to yours!

First I love my owlet sock. It has been amazing and provides me with such peace of mind at night. I am a first time mom so my nerves are everywhere already not to mention my baby came out with breathing issues. This was the first thing we bought before leaving the hospital. Best purchase ever. Fast forward to now. My sensor just randomly started acting up and was throwing false alarms. After trying everything , reboots, cleaning the sock. Etc it continued to throw false alarms for 2 nights in a row, all at the same time both nights. I contacted the company and was just wondering if they were experiencing software glitches. They were not. What amazed me was that they for 1 check on my baby and had me send pics to check sock placement and to ensure it was on properly. They Genuinely cared!!!! Next thing that shocked me know they asked for my address and are replacing the sensor along with a new fabric sock. For FREE !!! Wow.!!! I never expected that. Truly amazing company and amazing customer service team. THANK YOU.

Owlet Saved Her Life

My daughter was born premature and has always had respiratory issues. We bought the owlet for peace of mind during that hard transition from NICU to home. We were used to seeing her pulse ox from the hospital monitors and knowing how she was at all times. Once we got home that luxury was gone. Owlet provided the same comfort and security we felt when she was in the NICU. Our first night home the owlet alarmed red. Her heart rate had dropped. With stimulation on her back we were able to help her recover. The second night the owlet alarmed red again, this time she had stopped breathing and was turning blue. We again were able to stimulate her and get her breathing again. Without the owlet notifications we would have never known she was not breathing. It may have been too late by the time we noticed. Thank you owlet sock for saving my babys life. Best purchase of my life, worth every penny and then some.

Great Product for Peace of Mind

Our baby was born premature and spent some time in the NICU. We love the smart sock because it gives us peace of mind that we know our child is safe when we go to bed and we are able to sleep soundly throughout the night.

Great product for a peace of mind

I purchased the owlet smart sock when I was pregnant because my friend had one and swore by it. My baby is 3&1/2 months old now and we have used it just about every night and I absolutely love it. I’ve recently transferred her into her own room about two weeks ago and having the owlet give me a peace of mind knowing I can Check her heart and oxygen levels and even track her sleep patterns. This is my favorite baby item I have for her!
