I was looking for a phone that was lighter than the iPhone 15 max pro I had previously. I was about to down grade the size which I didn’t want but couldn’t the weight of another pro or max. So once I saw the air and the size I was as sold. It’s so thin and so light plus the size is perfect! The screen is not small and fits perfectly in my hand couldn’t ask for a better phone. Plus it’s cheaper.
Phone came sim locked, brand new out of the bag x. Spent 5 hours in the phone with support l, being passed around from person to person, only to be told to send it back. No offer of a replacement. They said I had to send it back, wait for them to take the payments off our bill and then call back and ask if we can get the upgrade offer back on our account and reorder it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there, Dave. We are incredibly sorry for the frustrating experience you've had with your new iPhone Air. Receiving a device that is SIM-locked right out of the box is unacceptable, and the 5-hour runaround you described is not the level of service we strive for.
We want to fix this without you losing your upgrade offer or dealing with further billing delays. Please fill out our self-service form at att.com/get-support/?source=ILC309046520 so we can assign an expert to your case who will investigate more into what happened with the phone that was sent.
Thank you for your patience while we get this solved.

I purchased this phone just to have a little bit of a change. I love how slim it is and often have to feel my pockets to make sure that it’s still in my pants. I didn’t need all the features of the pro or pro max as I don’t take pictures or game. However, I will say that the battery kinda sucks. After just browsing YouTube and making some calls and texts my phone is on 8%. I took it off of charge this morning at 7am and just plugged it in at 9pm. I feel that the battery should still be in the 20% range at least. If you buy this phone just keep a charger nearby. You’ll need it.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the iPhone Air. We’re glad to hear that you enjoy how slim and lightweight it is, and that it fits your needs without the extra features of the pro models.
At the same time, we understand your frustration with the battery performance that feels lower than expected. We’re sorry this has caused inconvenience. Due to its thin design, the iPhone Air sacrifices some battery life, and it is supposed to last around 12 hours of continuous web browsing. Heavy usage, such as constant social media, video, and gaming, can drain the battery significantly faster, sometimes requiring a midday charge.

Very thin, missing a couple features. This was an upgrade from last year’s 16 Pro, so we missed the nicer camera and longer battery life and so traded it in for a 17 Pro. Proving once again that thicker phones are actually better.

Hey Jacob, we value you sharing your thoughts on the iPhone Air. We understand your perspective on when upgrading to a new device it can sometimes feel like a trade- off, especially when the thinner design came at the cost of features like the camera and battery life you enjoyed on your previous device models. We are glad to hear that you were able to find a solution with the 17 Pro, which seems to better suit your needs. It's also great to hear that you're prioritizing what truly matters to you in a device! If you need any kind of assistance with the device, we are here to help.
