Perfect reset, it gives the feeling of a new phone without the extreme cost or loss of familiarity. The battery life isn’t an issue. If you’re an average consumer this phone is for you. The single camera is perfectly fine and does great in concerts.
Coming from the S25 Edge, my devices before that included ; Sony Xperia 1V, Xiaomi 14T & 15, Oneplus 13 , Pixel 9 , Nothing Phone 2 , S21 Ultra and a few more devices I’ve had a bunch of iPhones up until 14 series is when I stopped buying iPhone had a pro. I loved the Pixel 7 series over the 6 but something was missing. This design on the iPhone Air is top tier my only knock is IOS 26.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I waited a few weeks after the launch of the iPhone Air before deciding and I’m happy with the overall battery life and performance. To me, this phone as zero issues with battery life unplugging my phone at 4:00AM and charging it at 9:00PM at night with 40-50% battery left. Coming from an iPhone 14 Pro, the additional screen real estate is nice, but the difference in weight is very noticeable. The camera performance is subpar and the omission of a wide angle/macro camera is the biggest complaint I have. The single speaker does great for conference calls and I use AirPods for listening to music. I really enjoy the slim profile and ease of use storing in my pocket. Apple Intelligence is not a game changer whatsoever and I’m very underwhelming with the features offered in iOS26. Overall, worth the trade-offs stated above.
The iPhone Air may not be a great success sales-wise but to me it’s the best iPhone to date. The iPhone X was my favorite but dropped to 2nd place. It’s light (not as light as reviewers said) but it’s definitely thin, feels awesome in the hand. I sometimes just hold it without using it ;-}.. I got it about a week after release. Never had battery concerns -trying to cut back on tech usage anyway. Camera is just fine. The only small “issue” is watching videos, sound is kind of soft but absolutely not a dealbreaker.
