Thank you for your feedback about the iPhone 17 Pro Max battery. Rapid battery drain can happen even on new devices and is often related to software features, high screen brightness, background app activity, or location tracking rather than a defective battery.
Here are a few recommended steps you can try to enhance the battery life of your iPhone 17 Pro Max,
1) Lower the screen brightness and select auto-dim to adjust screen brightness automatically.
2) Reduce the display timeout period and enable Dark Mode.
3) Turn off device services like Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, and NFC when not in use.
4) Manage app usage by turning off unnecessary notifications and setting non-essential apps to only work when in use.
5) Delete unused apps and widgets, and enable power-saver mode if available.
6) Disable auto-update for apps to conserve battery power.
If these steps do not improve battery performance, check Battery Health in Settings > Battery > Battery Health. If the capacity is below 80%, consider contacting Apple for a battery service or replacement.
