It’s average. I only purchased it because I needed a new phone due to my previous phone being damaged. It lacks innovation and not a fan of the updates. Att network has also been subpar lately. To be honest, I don’t think this current version of iPhone is much better than the original. i’ve been a lifelong iPhone user since inception.

Thank you for raising this concern, Marie.
We're truly sorry to hear that your experience with your phone and the service hasn't been the one you were expecting. We understand that having a new phone should be exciting and free of complications, and we apologize if the process fell short of your expectations.
We want to help you to have the best experience with your phone. To run basic troubleshooting:
-Make sure your phone is updated to the latest iOS version. If the issue continues, try a soft reset by holding down the power and volume buttons until the Apple logo appears. -If Siri is not responding: Go to Settings > Siri & Search, toggle “Listen for ‘Hey Siri’” off and back on and retrain Siri by setting it up again. -If your battery is draining quickly: Check Settings > Battery > Battery Health to see if the battery needs service. Reduce background app refresh, lower screen brightness, and turn off location services for apps that don’t need it.
If you think that your phone might have a software issue, you might consider going for Apple's one-year limited warranty. For warranty support, product exchanges, or repairs, we recommend contacting Apple Support or visiting your nearest Apple Store with your iPhone and proof of purchase.

I always use my phone till it dies. For whatever reason that may be. This time, I was promoted by a “too good to be true” offer.
Now that I have phone, and have used it for about a month, I am incredibly glad I took the offer. The camera and display are stunning. Power usage is miserly. It executes code at light speed.
Now, I have to learn how to exploit all the new capabilities!
And, my trade-in was credited for 100% of what was offered.
